Mercer Transportation Company is primarily a truckload carrier of general commodities.  Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, the company operates throughout the continental United States, Canada and interline service to and from Mexico offering flatbed, dry van, drop deck and special equipment.

Louisville, KY has been home to Mercer Transportation since 1977.  Corporate headquarters - known as "Mercertown" - is situated on 14 acres downtown, within one mile of three major interstate highways.  There are over 90 Mercer field offices around the Unites States.

Mercer is a 100% owner/operator company.  Over 400 trucks pass through the Mercer site weekly.  

Currently, 49 electric shore power hookups are available that enable drivers to pull up, shut down and plug in.  This on-site power provides interior truck power and ac/heating eliminating diesel engine idling.
