The ROUSH name is recognized around the world
as a standard of excellence in the automotive world. In 1976, Jack
Roush founded the company - then known as Jack Roush Performance
Engineering - the precursor of today’s ROUSH Industries. A Tier One
supplier to all the "Big 3" auto manufacturers, ROUSH is a leader in
engineering, testing, and manufacturing and is recognized
internationally as a premier provider of automotive system
integration solutions. ROUSH employs more than 3,000 people in
facilities across the globe.
ROUSH CleanTech is the
alternative fuel powered vehicle products division, and since 2007
has sold a line of liquid propane autogas powered Ford vehicles that
offer the perfect blend of 30 years of technological expertise and
our innate passion for performance.
In 2007, ROUSH entered into the world of
alternative fuel vehicles through a partnership with the Propane
Education and Research Council (PERC). A contract was awarded for
the development of a dedicated propane fuel conversion system,
leading to the release of the 2007.5 – 2008 ROUSH Liquid Propane
Injected Ford F-150. The vehicle was immediately recognized by
critics as a seamlessly-integrated, OEM-quality alternative fuel
system that gives the end user a proven way to save on operating
costs while simultaneously doing their part to reduce vehicle
emissions.
Further research and development has taken
place, and fuel conversion systems are now available for a variety
of light- and medium-duty Ford trucks and vans. Currently offered
through authorized Ford dealerships around the country, the ROUSH
CleanTech line of liquid propane autogas powered vehicles delivers
lower operating costs and emissions without sacrificing vehicle
performance, making it what ROUSH CleanTech calls The Zero
Compromise Alternative Fuel Solution.
ROUSH CleanTech has developed an unparalleled
reputation for technical expertise, quality and value. Our success
remains deeply rooted in the core values that are unique to our
company: reliance upon the talent of the individual, a disciplined
work ethic, scrupulous attention to detail, and a highly competitive
desire to be the very best. We continue to seek innovative methods
of providing our customers effective, efficient services and
solutions.¬¬
