Mammoth Cave Alt Fuel Fleet Featured on Motorweek, PBS TV Program

PBS television program, MotorWeek, is featuring Mammoth Cave National Park as a true Clean Fuels success story! Starting in 1999 with E85, the park is now runs its fleet vehicles on 100% alternative fuels: E85, biodiesel, propane, and electricity.

The short TV segment will air on PBS stations nationwide starting August 7, 2010 (in the regular weekly MotorWeek timeslot on your local PBS station). It will also be broadcasted on the SPEED Channel on cable and satellite networks beginning August 14, 2010.

For show times in your area, check the MotorWeek and SPEED Channel Web sites. While many local PBS affiliates are still broadcasting in standard definition, viewers with newer widescreen televisions can watch the episode in 16:9 hi-definition on the SPEED channel.

Happy watching and Congratulations, Mammoth Cave National Park!
