LaRue County Celebrates Hybrid School Bus Delivery

Larue County Superintendent Sam Sanders joins with other Larue County leaders as they take delivery of Kentucky's first hybrid electric school bus.

LaRue County School District to receive first Hybrid Electric School Bus in Kentucky

(6.18.10) LaRue County will be the first school district in the Commonwealth to receive a hybrid electric school bus on July 27, 2010. LaRue Superintendent Samuel Sanders will receive the keys of the ThomasBuilt hybrid electric school bus at a ceremony to be held in Louisville.

KCFC Shares Hybrid Bus Success Across Kentucky

Melissa Howell, Executive Director of KCFC, is pictured with Daniel Rock, President of Hodgenville Rotary and LaRue County School Superintendent Samuel Sanders.  Howell gave a presentation on the hybrid electric school bus project to the Hodgenville Rotary Club.  LaRue County Schools will be receiving one of the buses in August.
